While some of our holiday traditions have changed over the years, this one has stood the test of time (mostly because its so low maintenance). I LOVE driving around with the family looking at Christmas lights on Christmas Eve. It doesn't matter if it's just on the way home from wherever we were, we're looking for them and there's something so amazingly peaceful about it. A close to the madness that is holiday preparation and before the insanity that is Christmas Day. (More on how Christmas Eve is my favorite holiday another time.)
